On Wednesday March 23, a delegation representing the interests of Docklands attended a meeting with the Hon Lisa Neville, Minister for the Environment, Climate Change and Water.
The attached summary was presented to the Minister with the intent of furthering the cause of legislative and governance changes for the Lower Yarra and Victoria Harbour.
Representatives for Parks Victoria were also in attendance for what proved to be a successful meeting.
Further to this, the Docklands chamber of Commerce have organised a community forum on Thursday the 28th of April with a 5:30pm registration for a 6:00pm start. Further details will be provided but it is expected that representatives from all stakeholders will be present.
An announcement from the Minister is expected imminently and will form the structure for this forum.
