The business of the Docklands Chamber of Commerce is largely undertaken by an Executive Committee.Members of the DCC Executive Committee are elected from representatives of member businesses and they volunteer countless hours to ensure that the Chamber is an effective, responsive and ever-developing representative and advocacy body for business in Docklands.
The 2019 committee is as follows:
President: Johanna Maxwell (Docklands Chauffeurs)
Joh Maxwell is the owner and operator (with her husband, Alan Maxwell) of Docklands Chauffeurs. As strong believers in participating in the business life of your community, Johanna and Alan joined the Chamber soon after opening their business in Docklands & Joh came on board Executive Committee in 2010. Joh is a very active participant in the business community in Docklands both in her role as DCC Executive Committee member and as a small business owner. Being a resident; a tourism operator & small business owner in Docklands all give her reason to see the precinct prosper. Joh is now in her 5th year in the role of President and is looking forward to the next year of engaging with business and the precinct.
Vice President: Daniel Hibberd – Quest Docklands
Since 2016, Daniel has been part of the Quest team in both NewQuay and Docklands, where he has developed a strong love for Docklands and its residents. Daniel has since directed his passion for Docklands to the Chamber, where he acts as Vice President on the executive committee in order to personally represent and advocate for businesses in Docklands.
Secretary: Mo Hamdouna – Mo Works Creative Agency
Mo Hamdouna is the founding director of Mo Works, a Docklands based creative agency with hands wrapped around the world. Mo Works creates innovative visual communication and digital assets to empower businesses to be future ready. Mo is looking to represent the businesses of Docklands and support its activation through creative, user-centred ideas.
Lisa Vacirca- Head of Marketing & Tourism, The District Docklands
Lisa joined the team at The District Docklands in May 2018, with over 18 years in retail and property management experience. Lisa has worked for landlords such as Centro Properties, Federation Centres and Vicinity Centre and retailers including Billabong and Marks and Spencer.
Lisa has held regional and national marketing roles across centre, retail and leasing campaigns to development marketing including the launch of 3 prominent Melbourne centres which includes the Stage 40 development at Chadstone Shopping Centre.
With a strong focus on branding, communications and customer experience, Lisa has a strong track record in building and leading marketing teams to deliver innovative and on-brand marketing programs and events with solid ROI as a key driver.
Nicole Hill is Head of Sales & Marketing at Melbourne Star Observation Wheel. Nicole comes with over 20 years of international and domestic tourism, events and hotel management. Nicole spent 10 years in Las Vegas as an event planner before she returned to Australia 14 years ago. Most recently Nicole has headed up sales and marketing teams for major tourism attractions to working with some of the world’s biggest hotel brands. Nicole is a true believer in developing partnerships within a region to grow business for all to enjoy. Nicole looks forward to developing more partnerships and to continue to grow Docklands.
Sales Manager of Lucas Real Estate and Residential Services by Mirvac
Mark joined the team at Lucas Group in August 2018, and brings nearly twenty-five years of real estate experience to Docklands, with clients praising his positive approach and his proficiency with negotiation.
A local bayside resident for over ten years, Mark has immersed himself in the local community and is passionate about what Docklands has to offer for both local residents and visitors. He strongly believes in the importance of giving back wherever you can. Eating, shopping, and spending locally is the key to surviving and thriving.

Ahmad Trad – XARY
Ahmad, CEO of XARY, is a methodical, results-oriented individual who wishes to use his rich set of skills in the service of the Chamber’s Executive Committee. Having worked with XARY since 2016, Ahmad has specialisation in strategic planning and commercialisation, with a keen marketing eye and a passion for technology. He looks forward to both supporting the development of the Docklands Chamber of Commerce and sharing his expansive business knowledge in order to assist in this development.
Athol Hodgetts – O’Brien Icehouse
Athol, Executive Director at the O’Brien Icehouse, has a lot of experience in various areas, having launched his career in the 70s as an Australian rules football player, subsequently working in football marketing and administration. Since then, Athol has run his own marketing company, started a bio tech company, obtained a full Real Estate License, and was recently inducted into the Tasmanian Football Hall of Fame. Athol hopes to use his vast experience in these various areas to facilitate the Chamber’s agenda and develop Docklands’ presence in Melbourne.
Peter Kelly – Docklands Private Collection of Apartments
Peter has been in Docklands since its inception, having created Docklands Private Collection of Apartments when there were only a few buildings in the area. Since then, the Docklands Private Collection of Apartments has only expanded, winning an award at the Lord Mayor’s Commendations in 2019 for providing a home-away-from-home for visitors to Melbourne for over a decade. Having spent many years travelling with his wife, Lyn, Peter is ready to offer his incredible expertise to the Chamber’s Executive Committee. Peter has a strong belief in supporting local business in Docklands, and looks forward to helping Docklands thrive through his work with the Chamber.
Stacy Andronikos – Quest NewQuay
Director of Sales at Quest NewQuay, Stacy specialises in short and long-term forecasting, yield, and revenue management. He is a strong believer in the value of family, as well as the power of dynamic and motivational teams in order to promote a good working environment. Having been with Quest since 2017, Stacy is constantly developing his expertise so as to maintain his knowledge of the ever-evolving online market, displaying his strong self-motivation and dedication to his work. Since joining the Chamber in 2018, Stacy has been unhesitating in using his professional skills to further the Chamber’s growth, and has become a valued member of the Executive Committee.
