The business of the
Docklands Chamber of Commerce is largely undertaken by an Executive
Committee.Members of the DCC Executive Committee are elected from
representatives of member businesses and they volunteer countless hours to
ensure that the Chamber is an effective, responsive and ever-developing
representative and advocacy body for business in Docklands.

President:Daniel Hibberd – Quest Docklands
Since 2016, Daniel has been part of the Quest team in both NewQuay and Docklands, where he has developed a strong love for Docklands and its residents. Vice President: Ahmad Trad – XARY
Chamber’s Executive Committee. Having worked with XARY since 2016, Ahmad has specialisation in strategic planning and commercialisation, with a keen marketing eye and a passion for technology. He looks forward to both supporting the development of the Docklands Chamber of Commerce and sharing his expansive business knowledge in order to assist in this development.

Secretary: Mo Hamdouna – Mo Works Creative Agency
Mo Hamdouna is the
founding director of Mo Works, a Docklands based creative agency with hands
wrapped around the world. Mo Works creates innovative visual communication and
digital assets to empower businesses to be future ready. Mo is looking to
represent the businesses of Docklands and support its activation through
creative, user-centred ideas.

Wei Xiong
Wei, Director and Co-Founder of Altitude Hotel Group, has been key in heightening tourism in Docklands due to the establishment of the award-winning The Sebel Melbourne Docklands, and the adjoining The Sebel Residences Docklands. With plenty of experience in sales management, leadership, revenue analysis, and a passion for operations, Wei can’t wait to share his skills with the Docklands community as a new member of the Chamber’s Executive Committee. In this, he’s also looking forward to deepening his relationships with businesses and residents in New Quay, his primary working location.
Vanessa Muggianu
Vanessa, Events Manager at Berth Restaurant in Docklands, has been a passionate member of the Docklands community since Berth’s inception. Berth was the winner of the 2020 Docklands Business Awards, and that’s thanks to Vanessa’s good humour, dynamic thinking, charitable attitude, and hard work in ensuring Berth’s constant success. Vanessa has established Berth as a staple for New Quay residents, and wishes to continue to accomplish great things in her role on the Chamber’s Executive Committee.
Mark Scholem
Mark has been part of the Docklands Community since early in the evolution of Docklands — 2006, when Victoria Harbour was just beginning its development. Mark and his partner established New Energy Physiotheraphy on Merchant Street in 2008, and since then, Mark has displayed his passion for Docklands and its residents by participating in the Docklands Community Forum and by forming connections with almost anyone he comes across in the area. Currently acting as the Business Development Manager for GFG Alliance, Mark is excited to transfer his extensive business experience and act as a representative of residential Docklands on the Executive Committee.
Peter Kelly – Docklands Private Collection of Apartments
Peter has been in Docklands since its inception, having
created Docklands Private Collection of Apartments when there were only a few
buildings in the area. Since then, the Docklands Private Collection of
Apartments has only expanded, winning an award at the Lord Mayor’s
Commendations in 2019 for providing a home-away-from-home for visitors to
Melbourne for over a decade. Having spent many years travelling with his wife,
Lyn, Peter is ready to offer his incredible expertise to the Chamber’s
Executive Committee. Peter has a strong belief in supporting local business in
Docklands, and looks forward to helping Docklands thrive through his work with
the Chamber.
