Mission to Seafarers
The Mission to Seafarers has operated from its heritage-listed building at Flinders Street since 1917. Australia relies on shipping and seafarers to connect to the world and to bring goods to our homes for the economy to thrive, and for the health of our island nation. The Mission to Seafarers provides welfare services to support the tireless work, isolation and hardships faced by those seafarers
The recently renovated building is architecturally significant and is considered a fine urban example of a merging of the ‘Arts and Crafts’ and ‘Spanish Mission Revival’ architectural styles in Melbourne.
Open daily to the public from 12pm, visitors are encouraged to take a self-guided tour through the building’s collection of stories of Melbourne’s maritime history, and to explore the Norla Dome, learn the history of the Chapel, peak inside long-lost nooks and discover the hidden garden and courtyard.
The enchanting design offers a unique venue for functions and events of all styles and sizes; with full bar facilities, a commercial kitchen, and all within the heart of Docklands and short stroll from the CBD.

Kinfolk cafe and catering
We give a fork about the meals we share with loved ones.
A visit to Kinfolk will reveal new creations centred around our suppliers’ latest produce, coupled with wholesome breakfast staples and coffee by Small Batch.
Kinfolk has an honest curiosity for understanding our role in our supply chain. By buying locally, often directly from the farmer, using organic, biodynamic and fair-trade products where possible, we are able to create fresh and lovingly-crafted meals.
Kep Whitely
Meet the driving force behind Kep Whitley, Elesha (Kep) Whitley. I am a pastry chef that is wildly passionate about food and the joy that sharing it with others can bring.
Late to the party of being in love with your career, before trading my heels for steel capped boots I spent most of my corporate life immersed in some of Australia’s biggest food manufacturers which fuelled a long time obsession for big ideas about small pleasures.
Honoured to have been inspired by internships recently served with the below pastry and chocolate institutions
Pump St Bakery & Bean to Bar Chocolate, Suffolk, UK
Happy Endings Dessert Bar aka Fraise Sauvage, London, UK
Wawa Chocolatier, Docklands, AU
