From 20 January until 21 March 2021 a special project is coming to Docklands and Melbourne
Me and UooUoo: The RCH150 Anniversary Art Trail will bring colour and creativity to the streets of Melbourne and Geelong with a spectacular public art trail to raise funds for The Royal Children’s Hospital Melbourne.
We hope that this project will bring people back into the community on the other side of the COVID-19 pandemic. I want to assure you that the safety of our community remains our absolute priority. We are mindful the situation is changing rapidly and you have my commitment we will respond accordingly should we need to.
Me and UooUoo will encourage communities to be active by visiting 100 unique art sculptures dotted in laneways, streets, parks and public spaces, forming walking trails throughout Melbourne and Geelong.
The 1.5 metre tall sculpture (as attached) will be installed between 11 and 20 January 2021. Installation will occur between the hours of 6am and 5pm and will require one to two trucks and approximately two hours.
During installation there will be minimal disruption and noise. In some instances, pedestrian walkways will be temporarily impacted, however appropriate traffic control and safety protocol will apply. Decommissioning will occur from 22 to 31 March 2021 and will follow an identical process.
A location map showing the UooUoo(s) is provided below.
