It was delightful to see Kep Whitley opening their doors again this week! That means a lot of things: in-store shopping, instant gratification (because you can’t walk in without buying at least a few boxes of chocolates [unless, unlike me, you have self-control]), and, most importantly, soft-serve ice-cream in home-made waffle cones! Listen. These waffle cones are the best I’ve ever had, and I can honestly say I’ve had a lot of ice cream in my life. It’s the special mixture of sugar, spice, and everything nice, probably (literally though, the spice blend is *chef’s kiss*). Drop in, say hi to Kep, and don’t forget to register for a chance to participate in a free Christmas Chocolate Workshop!

New to the Capri Café lunch menu is their Smoked Tomato Baked Eggs, which are the perfect hearty meal for after a night out! Open daily from 8am to 2pm, brunch here is a must. And if you’re in the mood for something sweet afterwards, treat yourself with the Coconut Panna Cotta from Cargo, which is just a little further down the promenade. In fact, stay for a few drinks and enjoy the new beer garden too!

With Christmas holidays coming up, it’s a good time to check out the Family Fun Package at the Sebel Melbourne Docklands and plan some time away (but not quite) with the fam! The Family Fun Package includes overnight accommodation at the Sebel, entry to ArtVo throughout the stay, discount offerings at the Melbourne Star, and more. It’s value for money, you’ll be creating lasting memories for you and the kids, AND you’ll be supporting local Docklands businesses.

Finally, ENA at Collins Square is officially back open and ready to satisfy any souvlaki-related needs! There’s probably nothing better than meat on a spit, and ENA have got the goods. Stop by for lunch and load up — it’ll keep you going for the rest of the day (at least).

In social news, this week we shared posts from Saluministi, Neo Lemonade, and Kinfolk Café. We especially love this golden shot of Docklands by @tformr! Don’t forget to tag @docklandsmelb and use the hashtags #docklandsmelb and #docklandsiloveyou in any posts you’d like shared!
